For parents
Is it safe for my child to talk to an AI? Here is how Sayo protects children, how parents stay involved, and how your child’s data is handled.

Safety when your child talks to the AI
- The AI only talks about the lesson topic and does not wander off.
- Content is filtered before it reaches your child.
- No chat with strangers and no social network.
- No ads inside the app.
Parent linking and consent
- A student must have a linked parent who consents before they can start learning.
- Up to 2 parents per student.
- Linking uses a 6-digit code: the child creates it and the parent enters it in the app.
See how your child is learning
- A weekly report, viewable for up to the last 8 weeks.
- Listen to your child’s “before and after” recordings to hear the progress.
- For high-school students the learning log is hidden by default, respecting teen privacy.
Your child’s data
- We keep learning results and reports so parents can follow progress.
- Voice from lessons is not stored. Voice-diary recordings are deleted after 30 days; weekly progress recordings keep only the first week and the 4 most recent weeks for comparison.
- Only the student and linked parents can see your child’s data.
- You can ask us to delete or export your child’s data at any time.
Time and cost
- 5, 10 or 20 minutes a day, as your child chooses, with study reminders.
- Suitable for grades 1 to 12, with lessons built around your child’s own life stories.
- Subscribe through the App Store or Google Play and cancel at any time.
