Sayo

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Sayo.

What is Sayo?
Sayo is an English speaking app: learn real phrases (chunks), review them just before you forget, and talk with an AI assistant by voice.
How long should I study each day?
You choose 5, 10 or 20 minutes a day and the app fits the lesson to it: listen and repeat, quick recall, then a conversation with the AI (AI conversation is on paid plans and the 3-day trial).
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You get the full app for 3 days; afterwards you can keep using the Free plan (review and one topic) or upgrade to Pro.
How do I pay?
Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play using your store account. The final price is shown in the store when you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies. Request one directly in the store; contact us if you need help.
How are my voice recordings used?
Your voice is only used to recognise speech and give feedback on your practice. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
Can parents follow their child’s progress?
Yes. A parent can link to the child’s account and see a weekly learning report. See the page for parents for details.
Can the AI mishear me?
It can. Speech recognition is not perfect, especially with background noise. Sayo does not replace a teacher for writing or academic reading.
Where do I contact support?
